Fernao

Fernao was the servant Laurence hired after he first landed on the island of Madeira with Temeraire. Laurence thought of Fernao as not outwardly friendly but at least capable of cooking a decent breakfast and supper but more importantly was not afraid of being around Temeraire. Fernao was the one who delivered the message from Sir Edward Howe that ultimately led to Laurence and Temeraire finding out the latter's likely breed and provenance.
